The names on this site are all connected to either my BLIGHT family or my wife's
TOWNSEND Family.

The BLIGHT family on my paternal side are all from North Devon. In the early
years the family surname was BRIGHT and remained so until the mid 19th C when my
direct line changed to BLIGHT. Other lines remained as BRIGHT as you will see
from the tree.  The main names connected to the family include PROUSE, JOY,
BOYLE(S), RICHARDS, MAJOR.

On my maternal side things are more diverse GIBSON, NEWLOVE, CHITTY, LOCKWOOD
from Yorkshire. BRIDDON from Derbyshire and LEIVERS from Nottinghamshire.

My wife's TOWNSEND family originated in Warwickshire and eventually moved to
South London.  Names connected include WYATT from Oxfordshire, EAST from
Buckinghamshire. SPILLER and TONKIN from Devon. MARDELL from Hertfordshire and
WIILLIAMS from South Wales.
